“ I always get the Christopher Columbus, it is amazing. Today when I went to get one they have lemon Icebox pie. So I had my dessert first. It was AMAZING! If you go try the pie. The pizza has perfectly crispy crust. Great flavor. To update, I got the pepperoni pizza and the pizza rolls. Amazing ”
“ My husband and I visited the Happy Italian Pizzeria, and both had delicious, fresh, well prepared meals. The food was excellent and the owner and staff so warm and welcoming. I started with a cup of the Italian Wedding Soup. Since I grew up working at an Italian restaurant in NJ, I love wedding soup. This one had a Southern kick yet maintained the oh so good meatballs, vegetables and broth. My entree was sauteed shrimp on a creamy bed of spaghetti squash. There were so many shrimp and they were all crisp and fresh! My husband ordered a small meat sauce pizza along with a side of meatballs and a side of eggplant parm. Again, everything was delicious and fresh! The meatballs were made of a combination of turkey and pork and the eggplant was not fried! Meat sauce on a pizza was a new twist for me and it too, was a winner! The crust on the pizza was able to hold up to the meat sauce yet not be soggy or thick. We have been to the Happy Italian Pizzeria before and it was just as good then. We’ll be back! ”

“ Mere words can not describe this place! I normally take a picture of my dish, unfortunately, I forgot to this time and before I know my Lasagna Pie (Pizza) was gone. I was able to snag a photo of my wife's dishes and the bread. I had the most amazing Pizza, which is now my favorite, I could literally taste the individual ingredients that made up the pizza, and yet they all melted together in mouth. Have you ever took a bite of something and the first word that comes to your mind is WOW, now that is fresh. The pizza crust was crispy, soft on the inside. The sauce was sooo full of flavor. There was traditional mozzarella, and of course fresh ricotta. Later I found out that the veggies are cut when my pizza is ordered. I was able to talk to the staff, and they made me feel like family. As our food came out, it looked like a cup of java animations with the steam rising. My wife's lasagna was so rich with flavor that stuck to ya ribs. My kids has pepperoni and cheese pizza. My daughter said, Dad this is the best pizza I have ever eaten. Then, wait for it.... I had the canoli. Mamma Mia, was I in for treat. I had just eaten a cannoli at another well know venue few hours earlier and thought it was the best! Happy Italian's was a tad bid creamier. Now it feels like I am cursed. Now ever time I eat a pizza, I will be comparing it to Happy Italian. All I can say is the Happy Italian, made this lil cajalian happy! I will be finding an excuse to get back to Harahan! ”
